Meanwhile, ‘Lokah’ has so far grossed ₹250 crore worldwide. The film continues to receive an excellent response in all the centres where it has been released.
Kalyani won hearts playing the role of Chandra, a modern reimagining of Neeli, the yakshi from Kerala folklore. Chandra’s younger version, played by Durga C Vinod, equally mesmerised audiences with her performance as the young Kalliyankattu Neeli.

Earlier, Kalyani had revealed the advice her father, veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan, had shared with her. Posting a screenshot of his message, she wrote: “Never delete this message. Don’t let success go to your head. Don’t let failure into your heart, my dear. This is the best advice I can give you.”
