Tovino, Dulquer’s quirky chat video gives first peek into ‘Lokah’ sequel

The makers of ‘Lokah’ have unveiled an exciting update about the franchise’s future. A new video titled ‘When Legends Chill: Michael x Charlie’ gave fans the first glimpse of ‘Lokah – Chapter 2’, which will be centred around Tovino Thomas’s character, Chaathan.

The teaser-style video features a playful conversation between Tovino and Dulquer Salmaan, who was earlier introduced as Odiyan in a social media post. At one point, Tovino jokes with Dulquer, asking, “Why don’t you call me once in a while — in 50 years or even 100 years?” The banter continues as Tovino mentions that his brother is out now, unlike him, and could be violent. He then asks Dulquer if he would come to help if called upon, to which Dulquer promptly says no. The light-hearted exchange ends with a brief glimpse of the much-anticipated second part of the ‘Lokah’ universe.

The announcement comes at a time when ‘Lokah – Chapter 1: Chandra’ is enjoying a historic box office run. Now in its fifth week across 275 screens, the film has already crossed ₹275 crore and is steadily marching toward the ₹300 crore milestone, making it the highest-grossing film in Malayalam cinema.

Tovino and Dulquer’s cameo appearances as Chaathan and Charlie in ‘Chapter 1’ had already created a stir among fans. With their latest video, the duo has only amplified excitement, officially setting the stage for the next big chapter in the ‘Lokah’ saga.
