A recently released teaser for Kaantha has generated tremendous buzz among fans and cinema enthusiasts, further raising expectations for the film. The teaser opens with an announcer declaring that 'Saantha,' a film produced by Modern Studios, will be Tamil cinema’s first horror film. Viewers are then taken behind the scenes as the movie comes together, with Ayya (Samuthirakani) as the writer-director and Dulquer Salmaan as the leading man. It soon becomes clear that tensions have flared between the director and the star, who are no longer on speaking terms. While Ayya insists on filming a scene where the character Chandran is terrified by the spirit Neeli, Dulquer prefers to begin with a more pleasant sequence.
