Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran extended heartfelt birthday wishes to his mother, actor Mallika Sukumaran, by sharing an adorable throwback picture on social media. The post featured Prithviraj’s mother holding his daughter, Alankrita Menon Sukumaran.

“Happy Birthday Amma! (red heart emoji) #Throwback #Achamma&Ally,” captioned the actor. Prithviraj’s wife, Supriya Menon, also commented on the post, saying, “Happy birthday to Amma dearest! My Ally kutty is so small in this!”

Mallika has carved a remarkable place for herself in Malayalam cinema with a career spanning over five decades. She made her debut in 1974 with G Aravindan’s Uttarayanam, portraying the character Radha in a script penned by Thikkodiyan. Over the years, Mallika became well known for her portrayals in both antagonist and humorous roles. She has acted in more than 60 films and several popular television serials.

Her performance as Rosi Cheriyan in ‘Swapnadanam’ (1974) earned her the Kerala State Film Award. In recent years, she has appeared in notable roles in ‘Love Action Drama’, ‘Bro Daddy’, and ‘Vyasanasametham Bandhumithradhikal’, all of which were well received by audiences.
