Kalyani Priyadarshan teams up with ‘Irugapatru’ makers for next

Actor Kalyani Priyadarshan, who is currently enjoying the success of her recent release 'Lokah,' has joined the sets of her next film in Chennai. This time, she will be taking on the lead role in a women-centric story, sources confirm.
Directed by debutant Thiraviyam S N, the film is produced by Potential Studios, known for its track record of critically acclaimed and commercially successful projects. This marks the production house's seventh venture, following hits such as 'Maya,' 'Maanagaram,' 'Monster,' 'Taanakkaran,' 'Irugapatru,' and 'Black.'
The yet-to-be-titled film will feature Kalyani in the lead role, sparking significant anticipation due to her recent success in a pan-Indian blockbuster and the production house's reputation for delivering hits. Alongside Kalyani, the film will also star Devadarshini and Vinoth Kishan, known for his role in Naan Mahaan Alla, in key roles.
As per IANS, sources close to the project reveal that the entire film is planned to be shot in a single stretch, with most of the scenes being filmed in Chennai. There are also talks of completing the entire shoot in the city if feasible. The film boasts an impressive technical team: Pravin Bhasker and Sree Kumar have co-written the screenplay and dialogues with the director, while Justin Prabhakaran, one of the Tamil industry's fastest-rising music composers, is in charge of the music. Cinematography will be handled by the renowned Gokul Benoy, with editing by Aral R. Thangam. The film's production design will be led by Mayapandi, and costumes will be designed by Inaz Farhan and Sher Ali.
