Keerthy Suresh, who is currently on a promotional spree for her upcoming crime comedy 'Revolver Rita', has revisited a comment she made earlier that sparked plenty of chatter among fans. During the promotions of Raghu Thatha in 2024, the actress had picked Thalapathy Vijay over Chiranjeevi when asked who she thought was the better dancer. The remark quickly travelled across social media and even stirred up a minor fan-war at the time.

Now, as she meets the Telugu press ahead of her latest release, Keerthy addressed the episode once again. With a smile, she reminded reporters that her admiration for Vijay has always been well known. “Chiranjeevi garu himself knows how much of a Vijay fan I am,” she said, adding that her earlier comment was never meant to disrespect anyone.

She went on to emphasise her affection and respect for the Megastar. “I love Chiranjeevi sir and I enjoy working with him. I’ve told him this during our conversations as well. I didn’t intend for it to sound wrong,” she explained. Keerthy also offered an apology to fans who may have felt offended. She recalled that while shooting together, she often joked with Chiranjeevi about being a Vijay loyalist, and he always took it in good spirit.

Meanwhile, 'Revolver Rita' marks her return to a quirky, offbeat lead role. Directed by JK Chandru, known for Naveena Saraswathi Sabadham, the film is produced by Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy under Passion Studios and The Route. The movie is set to hit theatres on November 28.
