The Malayalam film ‘Kalamkaval,’ directed by debutant Jithin K Jose and starring Mammootty, is set to premiere on a major OTT platform next month. Known for his versatility, Mammootty takes on the role of a serial killer, while Vinayakan plays a police officer who is nicknamed Nath.

‘Kalamkaval’ was released in theatres on December 5, and on Monday, SonyLiv announced that the film will start streaming on its platform next month, generating heightened anticipation among viewers. While the exact release date is yet to be confirmed, the news has certainly stirred excitement. Though the movie revolves around a serial killer, it has been awarded a U/A certificate and has received praise for its restraint in violence compared to many recent Mollywood films, which have leaned more heavily on gore.
