Jeethu Joseph confirms 'Drishyam 3' release date: Film set to drop in April

Jeethu Joseph announced that the much-awaited 'Drishyam 3' will be released in April 2026. The filmmaker hinted about the release of the movie at a private event in Kochi. “Drishyam is a movie that has influenced lots of people. I still bear the impact of it. So, without too many expectations, you may watch the movie in the first week of April in the theatres. The release date will be officially announced soon. Meanwhile, another movie 'Valathuvashathe Kallan' would be released on January 30. I am confident that it would be a good movie,” said Jeethu.
‘Drishyam 3’ is the sequel to the superhit franchise ‘Drishyam’, involving Georgekutty who is trying to protect his family from the cops after a necessitated murder. The first and second parts of the film won rave reviews from the audience. Jeethu also previously helmed 'Mirage' featuring Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali. The film opened to mixed reviews in theatres in Kerala.
Meanwhile, the Hindi version of the film, the rights of which have been purchased by Panorama Studios, will hit theatres in October. The film will be directed by Abhishek Pathak, who also helmed ‘Drishyam 2’ starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu.
