Singer and elder daughter of music maestro A R Rahman, Khatija Rahman, will tie the knot soon with Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed, who is a sound engineer by profession. The engagement was held at a private ceremony attended by close relatives and friends adhering to the COVID-19 protocol.
It was held on December 29, which was Khatija's birthday as well. In a social media post Khatija announced the engagement and shared a couple of photos of the ceremony.
Khatija has endeared herself to millions as a singer and has won international laurels for the song 'Farishton', composed and produced by A R Rahman.
It's a song visualised on a girl with the longing to explore the unknown.
She has also sung the song 'Puthiya Manidha' composed by A R Rahman for Rajinikanth starrer 'Enthiran'.
