A R Rahman back in Mollywood after 30 years

Oscar winner A R Rahman is back in Mollywood after 30 years with the song ‘Cholapenne’ from the movie ‘Malayankunju’.

The song of the film starring Fahadh Faasil and Rajisha Vijayan was released by the filmmakers recently. The song is going viral and will touch your heartstrings.

A R Rahman last composed music for the film ‘Yodha’ featuring Mohanlal and Jagathy Sreekumar and Nepalese Artist Siddharth Lamba.

Vijay Yesudas has crooned the song for the film, while the lyrics are by Vinayak Sasikumar. The film is directed by debutant Sajimon Prabhakar and scripted by Mahesh Narayanan.

Faasil is bankrolling the film which is his second production featuring his son Fahadh. They had last united in the movie ‘Kai Ethum Dhoorathu’.

‘Malayankunju’ which is a survival thriller will hit theatres on July 22.
