The Trivandrum Bakery at Inokashira Park in Tokyo offers 'naadan' tea you get in Kerala.

If you ever go to Tokyo in Japan and feels like having a refreshing cup of 'naadan' tea, you could always visit the Trivandrum Bakery which functions at the Inokashira Park. The bakery is indeed named after the capital city of Kerala.

However, it is a Japanese enterprise owned by a Japanese citizen who had fell in love with our own special brew while on a trip to Thiruvananthapuram. He paid tribute to the delicious tea that he had here by deciding to name his café in Tokyo as Trivandrum Café.

The picture of the café was tweeted by Tony Thomas, the chief information officer of Nissan Motor Corporation and a native of Thiruvananthapuram. The owner of the café had learnt how to brew the perfect cup of our own local tea before returning to his country. Caramel tea, royal milk tea and straight tea are some of the special tea varieties here.
