Chef Suresh Khanna and his team are busy cooking some incredible dishes in their kitchen at the Fortune Land Mark Hotel at Ahmedabad. He is all set to conquer the hearts and the taste buds of the leader of the oldest democracy in the world and his family with unique flavours and special preparations.

Chef Suresh Khanna has been entrusted with the responsibility of cooking for American President Donald Trump and his family who is in India for a state visit.

Not just the Trumps, but Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi too would taste the special delicacies prepared by chef Khanna. The dishes are prepared as per the menu handed over by the government. Suresh Khanna said that most dishes would be cooked in steam with little spices.

Iconic Gujarati vegetarian dishes would add the local flavours to the elaborate spread. Khaman (besan) dhokla, broccoli samosa, honey-dip cookies, multi grain rotis and snacks made with gram flour are some of the dishes that are included in the menu.

As Donald Trump and his wife Melania love the khaman dhokla, it would be specially made for the couple. The food inspectors would first taste the dishes. The food would be served for the guests after it undergoes many security and safety checks.

Chef Suresh Khanna, who is one of the leading culinary experts in the country, has also cooked for distinguished personalities like former president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu.

Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan and Shilpa Shetty, too, are fans of chef Khanna,s unique preparations. He is the recipient of the National Culinary Award in 1990.

Besides Ahmedabad, Trump would also visit Agra and New Delhi. The American president is accompanied, on his two day visit to India, by his wife Melania, daughter Ivanka and son in law Jared Kushner. This is Donald Trump's first state visit to India since he took office in 2017.
