Jisha Sajan's cakes fashioned like Onam sadya is a hit among Keralites

How about an elaborate Onam Feast with all the 26 dishes and various varieties of Payasam? Okay, now wait and look again. That is actually a delectable chocolate cake! The detailing is so perfectly done by baker Jisha Sajan, who lives in Chakkala, Kaduthiruthy.

Jisha who was a Nurse in Maldives couldn’t go back after the pandemic. That’s when she started baking cakes. The cakes are made to order. She accepts customized cake orders on whassup and Facebook. This Onam sadya cake will take about 5 hours to make.

According to Jisha, she is selling 3-5 Sadya cakes daily and it is priced at Rs 1000. You can eat everything from the banana leaf to the pappad.
