Does fitness enthusiast Milind Soman eat jalebi? He says ‘yes’

The word fitness is usually associated with saying goodbye to your favorite food, greasy dishes or tasty desserts. Meanwhile, super model Milind Soman has no doubts when it comes to eating the right food.

A recent Instagram post in which he is seen holding a plump heart shaped jalebi has already become viral. His fans are super excited to see Milind, who is known for his amazing fitness regime, express his love for the humble jalebi. Milind had shared his fitness secrets while visiting Gujarat with his wife Ankita Konwar. He has also shared pictures of his favorite Gujarati delicacies.

“Do I eat jalebis? Of course..sometimes. Fitness, to me, means a life of freedom, not restriction…to be able to enjoy everything that life and the world have to offer. We all know that food is good and bad for us, all I do is eat more of the good and minimize the bad! So more vegetables and fruits, very little refined sugar,” wrote Milind.

Milind says that he eats more whole food and minimize the over processed, over packaged or over refined food. When it comes to food, he believes that ‘when’ and ‘how much’ are important that ‘what’.

Jalebi is an Indian sweet snack that is extremely popular in all the states. Refined sugar is the main ingredient in this fried snack. Fitness experts too often point out that refined sugar should be consumed minimally to lead a healthy and fit life.
