In Vineeth Sreenivasan’s latest romantic flick ‘Hridayam’, the protagonist Arun asks Nithya whether she would like to accompany him to an eatery which serves special porotta.
Those who watched the movie couldn’t help but enquire about the quaint eatery that serves bun porotta and beef curry. Meanwhile, Vineeth Sreenivasan has shared the details of this eatery in a Facebook post.
“Lots of people who watched ‘Hridayam’ had asked me about the hotel where Arun and Nithya enjoys porotta and beef. There is a place called Edachira which is two and a half kilometers away from Kollangod in the Pollachi route. The hotel shown in the movie is run by Ayyappettan there. It was Suraj Venjaramoodu and Hareesh Kanaran who took me there first. The meals served there are really mouthwatering. However, the bun porotta was specially made by a cook, on the sets, for the filming. I don’t know whether porotta is still served at Ayyapettan’s hotel. But he has true magic in his fingers. Whatever he cooks tastes amazing,” wrote Vineeth.
