Palakkad: The food court at the grand shopping festival organised by Malayala Manorama in association with Top in Town has been drawing foodies from all over the state. From tasty pearl spot roasted with bird eye chillies and special masala and squid tawa fry to baked prawns, the stalls here open up a unique world of gastronomic indulgence. The festival is from 3 pm-10 pm at the Prassanna Lakshmi auditorium. The shopping festival ends on 17 October. Meanwhile, the entry is fee.
The sea food spread at the food court here is incredible. There are lots of takers for squid fry, tawa fish fry, squid bird eye chili fry and mackerel tawa fry. Besides, the Monarch D 9 restaurant serves unique items like beef and Chinese potatoes masala, Panchari beef fry and Ammachi chicken roast. The visitors could enjoy raw mango chicken roast, Manjali chicken curry and Gundur chili chicken at the stall by NMR Uptown. Meanwhile, London Bakes and Grills attracts foodies with various types of kebabs, tikkas and breads and loaves. If you are an ice cream lover, then you could try myriad flavours from various stalls.
Karaoke concert, mimicry and one man show are some of the entertainment programs that have been arranged today at the venue.
