Newly installed Idli ATMs at the metro stations in Bengaluru is the latest rage in the food scene in the metro city. Hot and fresh idli and vada would be dispensed from the ATM machines by scanning the QR code.

The machines are installed by a startup company called Freshot Robotics. After scanning the QR code and selecting the dishes, the customers can pay online. Meanwhile, the machine would begin preparing food.

The freshly packed food would then be dispensed within minutes. The machines are the brainchild of entrepreneurs Suresh Chandrasekhar and Sharon Hiremath. More machines would be installed at various spots by the end of November.
