To begin with, let’s take out the frozen meat and put it in another vessel. Sprinkle some salt powder and apply it to the frozen meat. Now, pour in some lukewarm water over it, little by little. Make sure the water is not too much hot. Try pulling the meat pieces apart and in around 15 minutes, you will get the frozen meat in its original form. Now, wash away the salt content and use it for cooking. This tip comes in handy and spares you several hours, especially when you are really in a pinch. It’s so easy and takes just 15 minutes. Meanwhile, it is safe to store meat and fish up to a week in the deep freezer that is commonly used in cold storages. However, do not try to store these items for too long in the regular fridge. When the freezer is opened regularly, the meat and fish that is kept uncovered might get infested with bacteria. Wash the meat and fish before keeping them in the freezer. Moreover, they should be stored in containers that have tight lids. Do not keep fish in the freezer without cleaning it and removing the gizzards.
