A grand stage awaits the flavours of Kerala. The Golden Clove Food Award, organised by Manorama Online, is set to be held on April 11, 2026, in Kumarakom. The event will begin at 4.30 pm and will take place at the KTDC Kumarakom Waterscapes Resort.

The chief guest for the event, which honours the best hotels and restaurants in Kerala, will be Veer Sanghvi, one of India’s most renowned food critic and journalist. The main sponsors of the Manorama Online Golden Clove Awards are Melam Masala, with Kerafed as the co-sponsor.

For the award, Kerala has been divided into different zones, and this year, more than 3,000 eateries known for their exceptional food and ambience have competed. From these, 25 restaurants selected through public voting have reached the final round. The competition features a wide range of categories, from traditional Kerala dishes to world-class modern cuisines, with awards to be announced for each.

With the state divided into five regions, one restaurant from each region will receive the award for its flavourful food and impeccable quality. The competition, which is conducted in three stages, encourages active public participation.
