Christmas special marble cake

Christmas has changed much over time. Yet there is one thing that tastes the same, one thing that brings the spirit of festival season – the enticing fragrance of a marble cake fresh out of oven. Try out this classic chocolate – vanilla marble loaf cake recipe today and bring home the fond memories of your childhood Christmas.

Ingredients
2 cups of flour
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla essence

Preparation
Beat the butter and sugar together till it is light and soft
Add one egg and vanilla essence to it, beat well
Add the other egg and beat again
Mix the flour, baking powder and salt in another bowl
Add this dry ingredient mixture to the beaten vanilla batter gradually and fold it
Add milk alternately
Transfer a quarter of the vanilla batter to another bowl
Add cocoa powder to it and mix well
Add milk if the mixture is too thick
Take a loaf pan
Pour the vanilla cake batter and chocolate batter alternatively to the pan
Fill it till 3/4th of the pan
Pat the pan to get it settle down
With a skewer, mix the batter in the loaf pan to bring swirls
Preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius for 5-10 minutes
Place this loaf in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes
Take it out of the oven and let it cool down
Now take it out of the mold
Slice and serve
