Though the name reminds you of that jelly semiya dessert served in a tall glass, khajo falooda belongs to the pudding family. Originating from the Muslim communities of Kutch, Gujarat,.khajo falooda is an easy dessert pudding made with milk, condensed milk and China grass. You can experiment with the colour and shape of this fluffy pudding to make your Ramadan platter more interesting.

Ingredients
100 gm China grass
½ ltr milk
½ ltr condensed milk
2-3 tsp sugar
4-5 chopped almonds
½ tsp vanilla essence
Edible food colour (any, as per choice)

Preparation
Melt China grass
Add the sugar and keep stirring on a low flame
Add the milk and condensed milk
Stir in the food colour and pour out the mix into a flat dish
Garnish with almonds and wait till it cools down and condenses
Once cooled, it can be cut into any shape and served
