Baked crab

Crabs make seafood more appealing, but they need to be cooked perfectly. Here, we bake them with a great sauce for added flavour.

Ingredients
6 crab shells
½ cup crab meat boiled
Oil as required
10 cloves garlic chopped finely
2 onions chopped finely
2 small green chillies chopped finely
½ tsp oregano
1 cup palak leaves chopped
Salt and pepper, as required


For the sauce


1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
¾ cup milk
1 cube cheese
Red chilli flakes and parsley leaves for garnish
Salt and pepper for seasoning
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. bread crumbs
1 cube cheese grated

Preparation
Clean and keep the crab shells aside without cracking them
Cook and keep the crab meat aside
Take oil in a pan, sauté the onions, garlic, green chillies
To this, add the cooked crab meat, the oregano, palak leaves and the seasoning
Sauté well till everything combines well
To make the white sauce, add butter to a pan, followed by the flour
When it bubbles, add the milk and stir well till it thickens. Take care not to burn this
To this, add the cheese cube, chilli flakes, parsley leaves and oregano
Take each of the crab shells, grease it well with butter
Fill the shells with the crab meat stuffing
Pour the white sauce over this stuffing, add the bread crumbs and the grated cheese on top
In a 180 —¦C preheated oven, bake the crab till the cheese on top melts and turns golden brown
