Crusted chicken pieces that are crunchy and tasty posing as perfect adornments on the table laid out for the Christmas spread.

Ingredients
3 chicken breasts
Lemon juice, salt and pepper powder, as required
1 cup corn flakes
1 cup bread crumbs
Maida, as required
2 gently beaten eggs
Oil for frying

Preparation
Clean the chicken breast pieces and cut them lengthwise
The chicken breast pieces should be washed well and kept dry by wiping before use
Make a paste of lemon juice, salt and pepper and smear on the chicken pieces. Let the chicken pieces marinate for some time
Grind the cornflakes to granules. Add bread powder along with salt and pepper to it and mix well
Add the prepared chicken breast pieces to the maida in a bowl, gently shake to cover and dust off excess maida
Dip these pieces in the beaten egg and place in the corn flakes mixture, covering the pieces with a thick layer of the mixture
Heat some oil in a non-stick pan. Add the prepared chicken breast pieces and fry to golden brown color. Lay on a tissue paper until the oil drains away
Serve with tomato / tartar sauce
