In the row of assorted pickle, there's a find—spicy jackfruit pickle. This new entrant is quirky and here to stay!
Ingredients
500gm raw jackfruit cut into small pieces and boiled
8 Green chillies
2 tbsp red chilli powder
Rock salt as required
1 cup oil
½ tsp turmeric powder
1½ tsp dried mustard seeds (powdered)
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1½ tbsp lime juice
1½ tbsp Vinegar
Preparation
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, green chillies crushed along with rock salt and cook for 2 minutes
Add the boiled raw jack fruit pieces, turmeric powder, chilli powder, mustard seed powder, and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame
Remove from heat and add lime juice and vinegar and stir well
Pickle is ready to be serve
