Banana fritters are undoubtedly delightful and scrumptious. Here's a new way of infusing some jaggery into them that makes them even more irresistible.
Ingredients
½ glass Ponni rice
1 lemon-sized ball of melted and filtered jaggery
4 dsp maida
3 Palayankodan banana mashed with hand
Salt, as required
½ kg ripe Nenthran banana
Oil, to fry
Preparation
Soak Ponni rice in water for 5-6 hours and then grind to a fine paste
Add jaggery, maida, Palayankodan banana, and salt into this. Make it into a semi thick batter
Slice Nenthran pazham into thin slices
Dip it into the batter, and deep fry in oil
