Here's how to make chicken bonda

Hot and crispy chicken bonda

Chicken bonda is a perfect non-vegetarian snack to enjoy with a cup of hot tea or coffee.

Ingredients
300 gms chicken
1 potato
1 cup water
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp salt
For the masala
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp ginger
5 green chillies (chopped)
1 onion (chopped)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp corn flour
For the batter
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour (maida)
1 1/2 cups gram flour
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp salt

Preparation
In a pressure cooker, add the chicken pieces, potato, pepper powder, chilli powder, water, and salt as required
Cook well
Drain the water and keep it aside to cool down
Prepare the batter by mixing the all purpose flour, gram flour, chilli powder, water, and salt
The batter should have a thick consistency
Heat oil in a pan
Add cumin, ginger, green chillies, onion, and salt
Sauté well
Add garam masala
Mix well
When this mixture cools down, add into the cooked chicken and potato mix
Add corn flour
Mix well using hands
Make small balls and dip in the previously prepared batter
Heat oil in a vessel
Deep fry the battered chicken balls
Serve hot with coriander chutney or ketchup.
