How to make kalathappam in pressure cooker

Try out this easy recipe of kalathappam, a delicious tea time snack, prepared in pressure cooker.

Ingredients
1 cup raw rice
1 ½ cups water
250 gm jaggery
½ tbsp cooked rice
¼ tsp baking soda
Salt as required
10 shallots

Preparation
Grind the raw rice, baking soda and cooked rice together
Melt the jaggery
Into the hot melted jaggery, add the rice batter
Mix well
Heat coconut oil in a pressure cooker
Add the chopped shallots and sauté until it turns soft
Pour the batter into it
Cook for 20 minutes without putting the whistle on
Remove the kalathappam from the pressure cooker when it has cooled down.
