Special pomfret fry

Pomfret is a fleshy sea fish that is usually fried and served. Here is an interesting recipe to make the fried pomfret extra tasty. This recipe adds fresh flavours of coriander and lime to the regular fried fish.

3 pomfrets
1 cup coriander leaves (chopped)
5-6 cloves garlic
2-3 green chillies (halved)
½ cup lemon juice
Salt as required
Oil to fry
Lemon wedges, onion rings and halved green chillies (to garnish)

Clean the pomfrets and score them
Into a blender add the coriander leaves, garlic, green chillies, lemon juice and salt
Grind into a fine marinade
Marinate the pomfrets in it for at least half an hour
Heat some oil in a pan
Add the marinated pomfrets and fry until both the sides are golden brown
Garnish with lemon wedges, onion rings and halved green chillies
Serve hot.
