Makhana or lotus seeds are healthy snacks that could satiate your hunger pangs. They are crunchy and tasty and can be easily prepared too. Here is the recipe of masala makhana.
2 cups makhana
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp cashews
½ tsp chilli powder
½ tsp pepper powder
Salt as required
Curry leaves as required
Heat butter in a pan
Roast the cashews and curry leaves
Into it add the lotus seeds
Fry for 4 -5 minutes on low flame
Now add chilli powder, pepper powder and salt
You could enjoy them hot or store in air tight containers.
