Healthy oats cake

Oats is an excellent ingredient that could control various lifestyle diseases. This delicious oats cake is prepared without adding sugar, baking powder or baking soda. Check out the pretty simple recipe for tasty and healthy oats cake.

1 cup oats
2 eggs
¼ cup milk
¼ cup ghee
½ cup jaggery syrup
½ cup shaved carrot
¼ cup chopped cashews
1 tsp cinnamon powder
½ tsp vanilla essence
¼ tsp salt

Grind the oats into a fine powder
Mix the oats powder with cinnamon powder and salt
Sift this mixture and set it aside
In a bowl mix carrot, cashews and two tsp oats powder
Meanwhile, beat the eggs and vanilla essence
Into it add milk, ghee and jaggery syrup
Mix well
Add the oats powder slowly
Fold well
Now add the carrot-cashew mixture
Fold well into a smooth cake batter
Grease a cake tin with butter and spread a butter paper
Pour the cake batter into the tin
Tap the cake tin to release the air bubbles
Place a ring or a stand in a preheated non-stick vessel
Place the cake tin on the stand
Bake for 2 minutes on high flame
Now, lower the flame and bake well
Cut the oats cake into pieces after it has cooled down.
