Pepper fish curry

A little bit of this delicious fish curry with a good hit of fresh pepper is enough to eat a bowl full of rice. Here is how to make this special pepper fish curry.

Ingredients
6 fish fillets
1 small onion
1 small tomato
2 green chillies
Curry leaves as required
Coconut oil as required
1 tsp peppercorns
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 ½ tbsp coriander powder
1 small piece of ginger
5-6 garlic cloves
4 tbsp tamarind water
Salt as required

Preparation
Heat 4 tbsp coconut oil in an earthen chatty
Add the onions and tomato
Stir until they are just heated up; do not sauté too much
Into it add garlic cloves and ginger
Mix well
Now add the coriander powder and turmeric powder
Sauté for a few seconds and turn off the flame
Into a mixer, jar add the peppercorns and the sautéed mixture
Grind well into a coarse paste
Heat some more coconut oil in the chatty
Splutter 1 tsp mustard seeds and some curry leaves
Into it add the masala paste
Pour 1 glass of water too
Now add the tamarind water
Add the chopped green chillies
Mix well and allow the gravy to boil
Add the cleaned fish fillets when the gravy begins to boil
Add salt as required
Cook for 10 minutes
Enjoy the delicious pepper fish curry.
