2 cups all purpose flour
½ tsp yeast
1 tbsp sugar
Lukewarm water
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp vanaspati/butter

Keep it aside for 10 minutes
Into the risen yeast, add the all purpose flour, salt, oil and butter and lukewarm water
Mix for at least 15 minutes to turn it into soft dough
Rub some oil on the dough and cover using a piece of cloth
Set it aside for an hour for the dough to rise
Cut the dough into four parts
Roll them into balls
Grease the steamer trays with some butter or oil
Place the dough balls on the tray, wrap them using a cloth
Keep aside for 15 minutes to allow the dough balls to rise
Mix some sugar in milk
Brush this on the buns
Sprinkle some white sesame seeds too
Heat salt in a huge vessel
Place a stand inside the vessel
Now place the trays on it
Close the lid and cook on medium flame for 1 minute
Now, lower the flame and cook for 20 – 25 minutes
You could cover the mouth of the vessel using aluminum foil so that the steam wouldn’t escape
Brush some butter on the buns when they turn brown in colour
Take them off the heat and cover using a dry towel
Homemade burger buns are ready!
