Food vlogger Firoz Chuttipara has taken cooking experiment to the next level by roasting a whole buffalo in a pit. In the latest video, Firoz, who is known for trying unique recipes and cooking methods, roasted a 300 kg buffalo for about six hours.

It took more than a week’s preparation to film this video. A pit that is 6 feet deep was first dug and then sealed using bricks and mortar to make the roasting oven. The pit was lined with firewood and then two huge cauldrons full of hot water too was inserted. The marinated buffalo was inserted into the pit on a sheet of wire mesh. Sacks were spread over the pit and secured with a heavy concrete slab. The sides of the slab were sealed with mud so that steam wouldn’t escape. The buffalo was then cooked for 6 hours. Meanwhile, Firoz and his team prepared a fragrant mandhi rice to accompany the roasted beef.

After 6 hours, the perfectly cooked buffalo was taken out of the roasting pit. Slabs of meat were carved off and arranged on top of the rice. The video ends when Firoz and his friends taste the roasted beef with mandhi rice. The video has already become viral on the social media for its unique theme and amazing visual experience.
