It rains out of the blue these days and often, one is quickly enveloped with the chilly breeze that accompanies the rain. If the weather puts you in the mood to enjoy the showers but not too thrilled about elaborate cooking, don't be in a haste to order those cliched unhealthy snacks.

Ingredients
3 onions cut into big rings
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1/4 cup corn flour (optional)
1 cup of bread crumbs (4 slices)
Salt
Water

Preparation
Dust a spoon of all purpose flour on the onion rings
Make a semi-thick batter mixing the flours, powders, garlic paste, salt and water
Dip the onion rings into the batter, one by one
Then coat them with some bread crumbs
Fry the rings on medium flame
Serve it hot with tea or coffee
