Raw plantain banana stir-fry: All you need with a plate of steaming rice

Many varieties of curries are made with raw plantain bananas and one of the most popular ones is the stir-fry. It is made with and without adding chopped coconut pieces and either way, it tastes delicious with a plate of steaming rice. Here's a simple recipe that can be easily made at home. 

Ingredients
2 raw bananas
1 big onion
4 green chillies
1 or 2 sprigs of curry leaves
2 tablespoons coconut oil
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
¾ teaspoon chilli powder
Salt (as required)

Preparation
Chop the raw bananas horizontally into small pieces and keep them immersed in water
Pour coconut oil into a pan and put on the flames
Add mustard seeds and curry leaves and wait till it splutters
Add the sliced onions and green chillies, and stir the mix well
Add the chopped bananas after draining out the water to this mix and toss them over
Add the turmeric powder and chilli powder and stir it again in a small flame
Close the pan with a lid, and cook for two minutes till it becomes tender.
Stir and toss them over again. Now the raw plantain banana stir fry is ready to be served with hot boiled rice.
