Looking for a treat with a delightful combination of sweet, spicy, and citrusy flavours? Try preparing ginger and lemon cookies at home. They pair wonderfully with a cup of tea. They can also be packed for schools as a tasty snack for children. And they’re also quite simple to prepare. Here's the recipe:

Ingredients
2 cups maida (refined wheat powder)
½ cup powdered sugar
½ cup ghee (prepared at room temperature)
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 egg
½ teaspoon grated lemon peels
1 teaspoon dried ginger powder

Preparation
Pour ghee into a bowl, and mix powdered sugar with it well
Beat in the egg and add the essence, lemon juice, grated lemon peels, and mix until they combine well
Add refined wheat flour, baking powder, salt, and dried ginger powder and whisk together
Prepare a soft dough out of the mix by kneading with your hand
Take a tablespoon amount of the batter, make it into a roll, press a little with your hand, and place it in a tray after placing butter paper
Repeat the process until the dough is finished
Preheat your oven to 170 degrees Celsius and bake the rolls for 12 to 15 minutes
Now keep them aside for 10 minutes and allow them to cool in the tray itself
Enjoy your homemade ginger and lemon cookies
