Oats can be a perfectly nutritious addition to your weight-loss diet and can be used to make various dishes, including traditional recipes like upma and puttu. It can also be had in the form of a smoothie. They are perfect for weight loss as they provide fiber, various vitamins, and minerals. Here’s a simple oats smoothie recipe that you can try at home:

½ cup oats
½ cup sliced apple or any other fruit, based on the availability
½ cup sliced robusta banana
3 dates
8 raisins
4 badam
Hot water (as required)
Milk (as required)

Put the seedless dates, oats, badam, and raisins in a vessel filled with hot water and keep it aside for 10 minutes
Drain the water out
Pour sufficient milk into a mixer and blend the wet oats well, after slicing the apple and robusta into small pieces
Adjust the sweetness by adding honey if needed
Continue blending until you achieve a smooth consistency
The super tasty smoothie is ready
