American fitness influencer Connor Murphy, who has also been a long-time bodybuilder, is at the centre of frenzied online searches after reports that he drowned in Thailand. There has been no official confirmation of his death yet from any official agencies nor from his family. However, as per reports, the incident that resulted in drowning is under investigation.

Certain reports suggest that a severe mental health crisis, psychosis, or substance intoxication is suspected behind an alleged 'sudden jump' into a lake in a luxury estate, swimming and eventual exhaustion, following which he drowned. Apparently, unknown pills and unused syringes were also found in his vehicle. Thai authorities are reportedly expected to make an announcement after autopsy, toxicology screening and other tests.

The 32-year-old was known for his perfect muscle symmetry and lean build, and was often hailed for his enviable bodybuilder proportions. In the early phase of his career, around 2016, he actively promoted drug-free bodybuilding and effective meal plans. Certain nutrition brands had also backed him. However, Connor opened up about psychedelic use after a few years and also stopped giving fitness tips. His content, such as extreme fasting, was also rated deeply disturbing by many of his followers. People started viewing it as the content of a person experiencing mental health issues in recent years.

Tony Huge speaks about the incident
Renowned celebrity fitness influencer Anthony Huge, also known as Tony Huge, has posted on his social media saying that Connor passed away due to drowning. Huge says on his X page, 'Rest in peace, Connor Murphy.'

In a video circulating on X, Tony also claims, "He (Connor Murphy) was discovering that he had some superhuman abilities, and it's no joke. He actually had some superhuman abilities. His goals were to be an influencer who had an impact on people, raise their level of consciousness, help them make healthier choices, and also be a professional golfer who seriously changed the game. I'm still trying to process this."

Huge says he saw Connor around 11 days ago, and at that point, he spoke about the meaning of life, his conspiracy theories, and that 'Connor was onto something.' "He had tapped into a level of consciousness that most people never will," claims Huge.
