Actress-vlogger Lakshmi Menon, who shot to fame through her comedy reels with her husband, RJ Mithun, recently revealed in an interview the various mental struggles she has been dealing with. During the conversation with RJ Gaddafi, she said she had a tough time postpartum. Lakshmi, who had starred in the action-comedy film Chatha Pacha, said that she had no issues for the first three months after the birth of her daughter Tanvi. "It was like I had to wear a hibiscus flower and run on roads," she said in jest during the conversation.
Lakshmi says she was quite excited to have her baby. "I felt like I got a Barbie doll upon the birth of my daughter," she said. Apparently, everything was fine in the initial months during her bed rest, when all she had to do was feed the child, change the diaper and relax. "After a while I started losing sleep," said Lakshmi, who apparently also had to cook, do laundry and do the household duties alongside taking care of the baby. "I had someone to clean the house, but didn't have support for anything else. Thankfully, I got to stay in Kerala for four months with my mom. Once I had her food and got some rest, I was fine," she recalls. Up to the time my daughter turned 2 years old, I had a tough time, Lakshmi says.
