Pathanamthitta: A woman was found dead by hanging in Kodumon here on Monday due to suspected threats from the loan mafia. Her husband and son, who also attempted suicide by consuming sleeping pills, have been hospitalised. Leela (50) hanged herself after consuming the pills. 

Her husband and son are admitted to the Pathanamthitta General Hospital. The Kodumon Police have launched an investigation and said that financial issues have driven the family to take the extreme step.
