Khatija Rahman, noted singer and music maestro AR Rahman’s daughter recently tied the knot with Riyasdheen Sheikh Muhammad, who is a sound engineer. Both the bride and the groom had shared the pictures of the special moments from their big day on their respective social media pages. Now, Khatija’s wedding look has been grabbing attention for its minimal look.
The bride wore a designer floral lehenga for her wedding. Khatija who prefers wearing a veil that covers her face followed the same style on her wedding day too. However, she chose to wear a mask that matches her lehenga instead of a traditional burkha. The same fabric was used to stitch the mask too.
Minimal makeup and classy jewellery pieces completed her wedding look. Meanwhile, Riyasdheen looked dapper in an ethnic outfit.

Khatija Rahman has made a mark in the music industry as a talented singer. The album ‘Farishto’, released in 2020, had won international accolades. Interestingly, the song was composed by her father AR Rahman. ‘Farishto’ was an invocation for peace of a young woman who goes on pilgrimage to various Holy places in the world.
