Removing dirt and dead skin cells accumulated in the skin pores once or twice a week is important for skincare. This is essential for increasing collagen production and giving the skin firmness. However, commercially available face scrubs are often not suitable for all skin types. They can also lead to loss of skin softness. Natural products can easily clean the facial skin.
Homemade scrub for oily skin:
A scrub made from orange peel and yoghurt is very beneficial for oily skin. The Vitamin C in oranges and the lactic acid in yoghurt help maintain skin health. Take two tablespoons of dried and powdered orange peel. Add one tablespoon of yoghurt. Mix them well to form a thick paste. Then apply it to the face and gently scrub. Remember to wash your face with cold water.
Scrub for dry skin:
The magic for maintaining healthy dry skin lies in banana. Its Vitamin C and potassium work wonderfully. For better results, add coffee powder and honey along with the banana. Mash a ripe banana well. Add two tablespoons of coffee powder. Now add one tablespoon of honey and prepare a paste. Apply this to your face and after 20 minutes, wash it off with lukewarm water.
Scrub for blackheads:
Oats and yoghurt help to cleanse skin pores, retain moisture, and enhance complexion. For this, mix two tablespoons of oats with one tablespoon of yoghurt. Apply this to the face and massage for a few minutes. After washing with normal water, use a toner and moisturizer.
Scrub for acne-prone skin:
The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric are ideal for treating acne-prone skin damage. Prepare a scrub by mixing two pinches of turmeric powder with one tablespoon of yoghurt and one tablespoon of gram flour (besan). Gently massage this into your skin without causing damage. Let this mixture remain on your face for 5 to 10 minutes. After washing it off, remember to use a toner and moisturizer.
For sensitive skin:
Prepare a mixture of one tablespoon of coffee powder and one tablespoon of honey. Make sure the consistency isn't too runny. Massage this into the skin in a circular motion. Let it stay for at least 10 minutes. Then wash your face with cold water. Try this method at least twice a week.
