Drink tea to boost brain activities, ward off Alzheimer’s

Tea is undoubtedly the most preferred beverage in the world. People love a cup of hot tea that comes in a variety of flavours. While some prefer the classic black tea, others may enjoy it with milk. Ginger and cardamom tea are also extremely popular. In a recent research that is likely to overwhelm the tea lovers, it has been revealed that tea is excellent not only to refresh you but is an amazing concoction for the health of brain. In a study, researchers found out that tea can effectively lower the chances of Alzheimer’s.

Aged and healthy people were divided into two groups to conduct experiments about the benefits of tea. Multi-model imaging data was then used to understand the relationship between consuming tea and the health of the brain. The researchers at the Tsinghua University in China had found out that drinking tea improves the intellect and safeguards the brain, besides making you relaxed and refreshed.

There are some other health benefits too for tea. It stimulates the central nervous system, increases concentration and prevents you from falling asleep while studying. The theophylline contained in tea relaxes the air pockets in the lungs. This eases the respiration and improves the heartbeat rates.

Meanwhile, the theobromine helps lower the blood pressure and improves blood circulation. It also acts as a diuretic.

The L –Theanine supports the formation of alpha radiations in the brain. These studies were published in the Impact Journals LLC.
