Karukachal: The construction of a health park is rapidly progressing in the 3 acres near the NSS Junction at Karukachal, in Kottayam district in Kerala. The health park, named H Zone Planet aims to promote healthy lifestyle among the people. The construction would be completed in two stages. The walkway, the rest area and a modern gym that are completed as part of the first stage of construction would be inaugurated by N Jayaraj MLA at 5 pm on 7th February.
300 meter walkway
The 300 meters long walkway is the main attraction in the health park. People can walk or jog here in the mornings or in the evenings, without being bothered by the heavy traffic or even street dogs. The incredible gym has all modern workout equipment that suits men and women of any age. The rest area, meanwhile, is a perfect place to relax and refresh after a heavy workout session or jogging.
Second stage
In the second stage of the project, a swimming pool of international standards and a mini open-air theatre would also be constructed at the venue.
Timings
The health park would be open between 4 to 9 in the morning and 5 in the evening to 10 at night. The unique project has been established by G Sunil, a retired Indian Air Force personnel and his wife SS Sreeja.
