Bollywood actress, model and singer Shahnaz Gill has surprised everyone by shedding 12 kilos after her stint in the reality show Big Boss. It took her just six months of workout and proper diet to get rid of that extra flab. Shahnaz spoke about her weight loss journey during the lockdown period in a conversation with actress Shilpa Shetty.
Turmeric water
Shahnaz begins her day by drinking a glass of water mixed with turmeric. She would add a few tea spoons of apple cider vinegar too. The turmeric water would increase the production of bile in our body. This digesting enzyme would melt the unwanted fat and improve the metabolism to reduce weight.
Breakfast
Protein rich breakfast items like dosa, fenugreek paratha and moong dal chila are some of her favourite items. However, she made sure to eat everything in minimal quantities.
Lunch and dinner
Shahnaz ate a bowl of dal and two chapathis for lunch and dinner while she was trying to reduce weight.
Exercise
Shahnaz believes that there is no need to indulge in excessive or hard work outs to lose body weight. Even a small walk in the house is enough.
No to hotel food
Shahnaz said that she had strictly avoided eating outside. She added that it takes incredible determination and self-control to take such a decision.
