International Physiotherapy conference was 'Movement Science and Manual Therapy'

The first-ever international physiotherapy conference organised jointly by Prime Physio Training, UK, and the Academy of Physiotherapists Kerala on the topic 'Movement Science and Manual Therapy' was held at Hotel Airlink Castle in Nedumbassery on Saturday.

The event was inaugurated by Col Rajeev Mannali, CEO, SUT Hospital, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram.

According to Dr. Mahmoud Saad, Chairman, Prime Physio Training, UK and organising committee members Dr Shahir, Dr Ansil Ali, Dr Vishal Johnson and Dr Shamnad the conference will provide a new direction to the physiotherapy sector in Kerala and the up-and-coming physiotherapists.

Prof Mark Laslett, founder of The Cluster of Laslett, New Zealand, Jacqueline Swart, Senior International Kinetic Control Tutor, South Africa; Dr Harish S Krishna, Professor of Laxmi Memorial College of Physiotherapy, Fatima Elbakry, Senior Tutor, Prime Physio Training, UK are among the main participants in the conference.
