Akshay’s perfect hours
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who is touted as one of the fittest actors in the industry, is known for his perfect routines, too. The actor who wakes up at 4 am makes sure to sleep by 9 pm. He spends two hours in the morning on his workouts, gym training or yoga. He enjoys a hearty breakfast with his family before heading to the shooting location. Akshay rarely attends the famous night parties in Bollywood and insists on going to sleep at his usual time. The 56-year-old actor also ensures that night shifts are avoided as much as possible during shoots.

The midnight melodies

Six hours of sleep for Musk
Billionaire Elon Musk has the perfect mantra for maintaining a healthy work–life balance. He makes sure to get at least six hours of sleep while he works for the remaining 18 hours. Musk goes to sleep at 3 a.m. and wakes up by 9 a.m. He believes that he can work productively for 18 hours only if he rests his body well for six hours.

An ideal sleep routine
Most health experts advise us to stop eating as the sun goes down and sleep around 10 am, as this routine suits our circadian rhythm the best. However, if your career also demands late-night schedules and graveyard shifts like that of celebs, you will have to figure out a way to do away with sleep debt and other adverse effects on your body with the help of your doctor. You can borrow pointers from the lifestyles of celebrities and even get inspired to stay healthy like them despite unconventional sleeping patterns, but make sure that the style suits you, to ensure optimum physical and mental health.
