Expatriates will be eligible to receive the benefits of the insurance policy from November 1 onwards. Currently, health insurance facilities are available in more than 16,00 hospitals across the country, including 500 hospitals in Kerala. Meanwhile, registration for NORKA Care health insurance has started.
1)Those who have NORKA’s expatriate, NRK and student ID can apply for NORKA Care
2) Policyholders get group medi claim insurance of Rs 5 lakh and accident insurance coverage of Rs 10 lakh

3) The premium for a family comprising husband, wife and two children under 25 years is Rs 13,411
4) Rs 4,130 should be paid additionally to add a child
5) Rs 8101 is the premium for single individuals
6) Insurance coverage is available for present health conditions; there is no waiting period
7) Accident insurance coverage is ensured for all kinds of accidents

8) There is no change in the premium rate for people between 18 and 70 years of age
9) In case of death, Rs 25000 will be provided for bringing the dead body to Kerala from other parts of India and Rs 50,000 from foreign countries
