Health is not the result of a one-day miracle. Good health demands an equally good lifestyle. Preparations for this should begin early in life. Adopting a lifestyle appropriate for each age group ensures good health and a confident life. Abandoning poor eating habits, engaging in regular workouts and abstaining from intoxicants is half the battle won. The earlier one follows the right path, the sooner lifestyle diseases can be kept at bay.  All the above are also true in the case of cardiac health. Follow good habits
Jobs involving minimal physical exertion and poor lifestyle choices are turning even young people into cardiac patients. Regular exercise plays a significant role in maintaining good health. Time should be allocated for heart-friendly workouts such as walking for 35 to 40 minutes, jogging, cycling, and swimming. Exercise helps regulate blood cholesterol levels and increases the level of good cholesterol (HDL).

Computer and exercise
Avoid sitting idle in front of a computer for extended periods; take breaks. Engage in light exercises every hour. Stand up intermittently. Stretch your arms and legs while seated. Stretch and try to touch the right side of the floor with your left hand and the left side with your right hand. Bend your knees and raise one knee alternately, then the other. Perform light exercises such as folding arms to the shoulders, twisting the torso to both sides, extending arms sideways, and raising them 10–15 times.
