Kochi: Young couples searching for more innovative ways and locations for their wedding shooting need to look no further than Kochi Metro. Keralites, who are keen to experiment with wedding photography, can now board the Kochi Metro train.
The Kochi Metro will rent out trains and stations for wedding shootings as part of an initiative to boost revenue.
One coach or three coaches can be booked. The wedding shooting can be held inside the stationary train or during the journey. One can also travel to-and-fro between Aluva and Pettah for the shoot.
But separate rates need to be paid for each option. For shooting inside the coach of a stationary train for two hours, Rs 5,000 has to be paid. If three coaches are needed, the rate is Rs 12,000. For shooting inside a moving train, Rs 8,000 for a coach needs to be paid. And the rate is Rs 17,500 for three coaches.
In addition to this, a security deposit of Rs 10,000 needs to be given for one coach and Rs 25,000 for three coaches. This amount would be refunded after the wedding shooting.
